Job Description

We are seeking a talented UI Engineer to join our Oracle Health team. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize user interfaces for healthcare applications used by clinicians, patients, and administrators. You will work closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Backend Engineers to deliver seamless, compliant, and accessible experiences that drive real-world impact.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain intuitive, responsive, and secure user interfaces for Oracle Health products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement UI solutions that support complex healthcare workflows.
  • Translate user and business requirements into robust interface solutions, emphasizing usability and accessibility
  • Ensure software quality, security, and compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
  • Implement and optimize UI performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to UI/UX best practices.
  • Stay current with front-end technologies and trends, advocating for continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in front-end/UI engineering using technologies such as JavaScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, and accessibility standards.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, state management, and modern front-end build pipelines.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance in the health technology domain.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior involvement in healthcare IT or regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure).

Responsibilities

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $79,200 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
