Job Title: Sr Oracle DBA with GoldenGate

Location: Boston, MA (3 days onsite)

Role Type: Contract

We are looking for a strong Developer who thrives on research and development projects. Be a strong technical hand who work efficiently to make sure we are building the right code and services using the right coding principles. As a Senior Oracle Database Engineer with expertise in GoldenGate, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our database infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Oracle database solutions, with a focus on GoldenGate for real-time data replication and integration.

Responsibilities:

• Around 5+ Years experience as Oracle Database engineer
• Experience in Oracle Golden Gate.
• Experience in Python programing
• Experience in Oracle PLSQL
• Very thorough and clear understanding of Oracle Database Architecture - including the latest version of Oracle 11g, 12c & above)
• Experience in handling complex database recovery scenarios
• Experience in troubleshooting various installation and patching issues
• Exposure to Cloud technologies like Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), AWS will be an added advantage.
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle Database Engineer, with a focus on GoldenGate.
• Expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining Oracle database solutions.
• Proficiency in Oracle database performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of database backup and recovery strategies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional) are a plus.
