Description
We are seeking a versatile and proactive IT Systems Administrator to provide comprehensive onsite technical support for our Durham office. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting across desktop, server, and network environments, and who brings a strong background in Windows systems, virtualization, and automation. You'll be the go-to IT resource for the Durham office, capable of resolving issues across the stack and proactively improving systems. You'll bring a mix of hands-on support, infrastructure knowledge, and automation mindset to help the team operate smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities -Deliver day-to-day onsite IT support, including desktop, software, server, and network troubleshooting. -Own the full lifecycle of technical issues - from desktop support through to network and infrastructure resolution. -Monitor and maintain system performance and availability across Windows and VMware environments. -Apply scripting and automation (PowerShell, Ansible) to streamline operations and improve efficiency. -Assist in the design and deployment of new infrastructure, including data analysis and cluster computing systems. -Physically deploy and configure new hardware and systems as needed.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
