Unissant is seeking a Data Analyst/ BI Developer to join our dynamic team to support our federal customer. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for interpreting data, analyzing results, and providing actionable insights to drive informed decision-making across the agency.
This is a 100% Remote position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Defines data requirements, gathers, and validates information, applying judgement and knowledge of statistical and data management best practices.
- Analyzes and organizes technical data and reports into summaries for management review, defining problems, performing evaluations, and offering possible solutions.
- Manage and manipulate large hierarchical data sets, develop data science approaches, and manage data science tasks.
- Performs validation and testing of data through independent analysis.
- Conducts advanced research and analysis in assigned functional area.
- Monitors data submissions, reviews quality of data and coordinates with the team to resolve data quality issues.
- Verifies data in the Tableau dashboards.
- Conducts ad-hoc data analysis as requested.
Work Experience:
- 2+ years of dashboarding experience using AWS Quicksight is required.
- Experience creating and administering Tableau dashboards
- Working experience with SQL is preferred.
- Experience with Market Analysis is a plus.
- Experience preparing dashboards, data reports and data analysis.

Education:
- Bachelor's degree in any related field is required.
Certificates, Licenses & Registrations:
- Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance.
Communication Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid ability to interface, inspire and motivate at various levels of the organization.
- Ability to convey technical information to non-technical individuals.
- Demonstrated experience communicating effectively across internal and external organizations.
Travel:
- No travel needed.
Environmental Requirements:
- Mainly sedentary; in an office environment.
- May be required to lift up to ten (10) pounds
- Flexible in working extended hours
