Role: Network Engineer
Location: Wilmington, DE Onsite (3 days a week)
Interview: Onsite interview required
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Cisco and Juniper environments. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of enterprise network engineering, excellent troubleshooting skills, and experience supporting complex routing, switching, and Zero Trust environments.
Must Have Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in enterprise network engineering, administration, or NOC roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco IOS / NX-OS and Juniper Junos OS
- Expertise in:
- Routing & Switching: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP
- MPLS, VLANs, VPN (IPSec, SSL)
- DNS, DHCP, network segmentation
- Experience with monitoring/logging tools: Splunk, DataDog, etc.
- Ability to lead network incident response, troubleshoot L2/L3 issues, and perform RCA
- Certifications (preferred): CCNP, JNCIP, CCIE
- Strong communication skills
- Must have an active LinkedIn profile
Zero Trust Experience (Preferred)
- Experience with Zero Trust solutions (Zscaler ZPA/ZIA, ZTNA, identity-based segmentation, continuous authentication)
- Hands-on Zero Trust policy or platform integration experience
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement & maintain enterprise network infrastructure
- Drive network reliability, performance, and high availability
- Troubleshoot complex routing/switching issues
- Lead incident response and document RCA
- Collaborate with security and operations teams
- Perform proactive improvements on network systems
