Position Summary:
The Senior Technical Project Manager will oversee all aspects of project management for highly complex, strategically important technical initiatives. This role is responsible for ensuring timely, on-budget delivery and alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution and delivery of technical projects through the full lifecycle.
- Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, architects, and leadership to optimize cross-functional processes.
- Define and manage Agile ceremonies and processes for large teams.
- Oversee hardware/software procurement as needed.
- Develop and manage multi-track program plans and multiple project managers.
- Proactively address unplanned changes and keep programs aligned with business goals.
- Implement governance practices and provide senior-level program oversight.
- Manage budgets, control expenditures, and report ROI.
- Build and maintain the infrastructure required to support program delivery.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in technical project/program management of enterprise solutions
- Bachelor’s degree
- PMP certification
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture, APIs, databases, software development lifecycle, and DevOps
- Familiarity with Agile practices, CI/CD, TDD, and engineering/product development methodologies
- Proficiency in:
- Office tools: Microsoft Suite, Keynote, Smartsheet
- PM tools: MyPPM (Clarity), Jira Advanced Roadmaps
- Reporting: Tableau, Power BI
