Data Engineer || P.R / Canadian Citizens Only

Toronto, ON, Canada (Hybrid 2 or 3 days onsite per week)
Position Summary:
We are on the lookout for skilled Data Engineers to expand our dynamic data team. The perfect match for this role would be someone adept in SQL, Python, and the intricacies of data integration who is also comfortable managing sizable data sets and orchestrating intricate data transfer projects.
Principal Duties:
Engineer, implement, and sustain high-performance data processing systems for data analysis and reporting purposes.
Carry out comprehensive ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) operations involving diverse data repositories.
Refine complex queries on extensive datasets for superior system performance and resource efficiency.
Oversee the transition of data from outdated systems to cutting-edge technologies.
Collaborate with business partners and multidisciplinary teams to grasp their necessities and engineer precise data-driven solutions.
Advance frameworks for data quality assurance and validation to certify data fidelity and uniformity.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
A track record of 5 10 years in professional roles equivalent to a Data Engineer or other roles with a focus on data.
Exceptional command of SQL and Python applied to data manipulation and workflow automation.
A history of working with bulk data processing and constructing data designs.
Demonstrated aptitude in implementing data integration and migrating datasets between varied systems.
Exposure to cloud infrastructure environments such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform is desirable.
Outstanding problem-detection and analytical prowess.
Effective communicator with substantial collaborative experience, ideally within a consultancy setting.
