Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain service provider and enterprise networks, including fixed wireless and municipal area networks.

Collaborate with the Network Architect and team members on the design and implementation of network solutions.

Conduct performance monitoring, testing, and analysis to ensure network reliability and efficiency.

Install and configure networking hardware and software for enterprise and service provider environments.

Implement and enforce network security protocols to safeguard data and infrastructure.

Provide advanced technical support for escalated issues and assist in troubleshooting complex network problems.

Participate in large-scale projects, such as network technology upgrades and hardware integration testing.

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations, installation procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.

Monitor project timelines and budgets to ensure successful completion of assigned tasks.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
At least 3 years of experience in network administration, preferably in a service provider environment.
Proficiency in routing protocols and technologies such as BGP, MPLS VPN, and Multicast.
Hands-on experience with industry-standard hardware and solutions, including Cisco, Arista, Juniper, and Accedian Networks.
Familiarity with monitoring and configuration tools like SolarWinds, Ansible, and Mosaic Subscriber Insight.
Certification in relevant areas, such as Cisco or Juniper, is preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively with vendor management to resolve issues.
Experience documenting processes and creating technical guides for team use.
