Description
We are looking for a skilled Release Engineer to join our team on a contract basis in Chicago, IL. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing and coordinating release planning and execution processes within a SAFe Agile environment. You will collaborate closely with both technical and business stakeholders to ensure the seamless delivery of application development projects.
Responsibilities:
Organize and oversee release planning, execution, and coordination across diverse teams.
Offer guidance and support for projects of medium to low complexity within a SAFe Agile framework.
Collaborate with stakeholders from technical and business domains to ensure successful project outcomes.
Identify potential risks, manage interdependencies, and address issues proactively.
Establish governance structures and provide visibility throughout the release cycle.
Deliver project management support, including reporting, updates, and coordination as needed.
Requirements
Hands-on experience with SAFe Agile practices.
Strong expertise in release management paired with project management knowledge.
Proven ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including those in high-visibility roles.
Background in supporting application development environments.
Healthcare industry experience is preferred.
Familiarity with payer systems is desirable.
Local candidates are preferred, though remote candidates will be considered.
