Job Details

We are looking for Quality Assurance Analysts with strong functional testing skills and experience with consumer lending origination systems.

  • Defect Reporting: Clear and concise reporting of issues and bugs.
  • Test Planning: Ability to document the testing approach, scenarios, and expected outcomes.
  • Reporting and Metrics: The ability to summarize and report test activities and outcomes and communicate them to stakeholders.

Technical Skills:

  • Understand the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): When and how UAT fits into the lifecycle.
  • Test Case Design: The ability to create detailed, effective test cases based on user requirements and specifications.
  • Understand Test Management Tools: Familiarity with tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar for test case management and defect tracking.
    PDF form tagging and testing.
    Desired skills:

Business Acumen:

  • Understand consumer lending origination's business logic and flow to ensure the system meets the required needs.
  • User Experience (UX): Ability to grasp UX principles to help assess the application's usability.
    SQL Knowledge: Knowledge of basic SQL skills are helpful for database testing and data validation.
  • Scripting and Automation: Understand basic scripting to help automate repetitive tests.

Soft Skills:

  • Attention to Detail: The ability to identify the smallest inconsistencies or errors.
  • Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills for reporting issues, explaining scenarios, and understanding requirements.
  • Analytical Thinking: The ability to analyze complex scenarios or problems and produce clear, logical solutions.
