AWS Administrator
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid) Duration: Long Term

Job Description
We are looking for a AWS Administrator to assist with ongoing AWS administration work.

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable AWS environments
• Monitor and optimize the performance of AWS services
• Implement and manage security and compliance measures
• Develop and maintain Python scripts to automate routine tasks and processes
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform for environment provisioning
• Analyze system performance and identify areas for improvement
• Implement solutions to enhance the efficiency and scalability of AWS resources
• Provide expert-level support for AWS-related issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges
• Collaborate with AWS and other vendors for support-related issues
• Maintain clients AWS accounts and provide estimates for new implementations and product procurement on AWS marketplace
• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS services such as CodePipeline and CodeBuild
• Maintain thorough documentation of AWS environments and automation processes
• Generate reports on system performance and resource utilization

Required:

• Experience with AWS administration
• Experience with Python development

Preferred:

• Familiarity with IaC tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform

Physical Demands

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
• Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with an occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
• Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
