We re partnering with our client, a global insurance and financial services organization, to identify a strategic and technically strong AVP Actuarial Technical Lead who can bridge the worlds of technology and actuarial science.

This role sits at the intersection of IT, data, and actuarial modeling, driving innovation in pricing, reserving, and analytical solutions. You ll collaborate closely with actuarial leaders to deliver impactful technology initiatives that empower decision-making and operational efficiency.

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise IT solutions supporting actuarial pricing and reserving.

  • Manage cross-functional IT teams, ensuring performance, productivity, and quality delivery.

  • Partner with senior IT and actuarial leadership to shape and execute technology strategies.

  • Drive system modernization, cloud integration, and automation to improve efficiency.

  • Oversee data governance, security, and compliance in alignment with corporate IT standards.

  • Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to support innovation in actuarial analytics.

  • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master s preferred).

  • 10+ years of experience in IT, with at least 4 in a leadership or technical management role.

  • Proven expertise in enterprise application delivery, project management, and agile execution.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure) and modern development best practices.

  • Prior exposure to the insurance industry, ideally in pricing or reserving actuarial systems.

  • Strong stakeholder communication and leadership presence.
