Location: Irvine, California (Onsite/HYBRID) Work Mode: Hybrid (Onsite twice a week)

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Architect to join our team in Irvine, CA.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced AWS Architect with strong expertise in designing, migrating, and managing cloud solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience leading on premises to AWS cloud migrations, deep understanding of AWS services, and solid exposure to database technologies. This role requires close collaboration with infrastructure, application, and security teams to deliver scalable and secure cloud architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and implement end-to-end AWS cloud solutions
• Lead and support on premises to AWS migration initiatives
• Assess existing infrastructure and applications to recommend optimal cloud architecture
• Define cloud standards, best practices, and governance models
• Work closely with development, DevOps, security, and database teams
• Ensure high availability, scalability, performance, and security of AWS environments
• Optimize cloud cost, performance, and resource utilization
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues
• Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership to teams
• Create and maintain architecture diagrams, documentation, and runbooks

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall IT experience with strong AWS Architecture expertise
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services such as:
• EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudFormation
• Proven experience in on-prem to AWS migration projects
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (VPN, Direct Connect, Subnets, Security Groups)
• Experience with database technologies such as:
• AWS RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, Redshift (or equivalent on-prem databases)
• Knowledge of security best practices, compliance, and IAM policies
• Experience with infrastructure as code (CloudFormation / Terraform preferred)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and lead architectural discussions

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional)
• Experience with DevOps tools (CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
• Experience working in large enterprise environments
