Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Analyst III to join our team on a contract basis in Seattle, Washington. This role involves leveraging advanced analytical techniques to support decision-making processes, focusing on capacity planning, financial modeling, and market analysis. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing complex data systems and tools to drive forecasting, budgeting, and resource allocation.

Remote Option: Onsite preferred; remote considered for West Coast candidates

Duration: 3 Months

About the Role

The Operations Engineering team is seeking a Data Analyst III to support peak operations. This role involves:
  • Developing and automating Excel-based reports using SQL
  • Analyzing warehouse and material handling system performance
  • Reporting daily and weekly operational trends
  • Collaborating with a team managing 40+ dashboards
  • Delivering actionable insights to support operational decisions


Requirements

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 7+ years of experience in capacity planning or operations
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and SQL (QuickSight experience a plus)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
