Java Application Analyst

Are you a skilled Java developer with a knack for troubleshooting and technical support? Join our dynamic Enterprise Security Application Support and Development Team in Charlotte.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $52 - $62 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:

• Design and build complex software solutions.
• Translate complex ideas into user stories and workable solutions.
• Assist product owners and business users with technical inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Lead design and code walk-throughs.
• Transfer knowledge to less-experienced team members.
• Manage code testing and migration through test regions.

Experience Requirements:
Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in application development and support.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience managing multiple user stories and tasks concurrently.

Desired Technical Skills:

• Intermediate Java skills
• Troubleshooting/debugging expertise
• Kafka
• IT Service Management experience
• Strong SQL Server skills
• Familiarity with IAM Application models and Role-Based Access Controls
• Experience with relational databases
• Bonus: SailPoint experience

Additional Skills:

• Experience with version control (Git), Splunk, Citrix, Informatica ETLs.
• Understanding of data integration architectures, including ODS and Data Warehouse concepts.
• Experience with Duke standards and IT Security is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively with remote teams.

Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
