Are you a dynamic and experienced Project Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity in the construction industry? If you have a passion for healthcare construction and are ready to take your career to the next level, we have the perfect role for you! Our company is seeking a dedicated and talented Senior Project Engineer to lead our healthcare construction projects. This permanent role will provide you with the opportunity to utilize your expertise in managing commercial projects, Healthcare TI, Healthcare Ground Up Construction, and Healthcare Construction.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Project Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our healthcare construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing all aspects of healthcare construction projects from inception to completion.
2. Coordinating and supervising the work of all project personnel to ensure the project progresses on schedule and within the prescribed budget.
3. Conducting project meetings and preparing regular reports to communicate the status of the project to team members and stakeholders.
4. Reviewing and interpreting plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure project accuracy and completeness.
5. Managing and coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to deliver materials and equipment to the construction site on time.
6. Ensuring that all construction activities comply with health and safety laws and regulations.
7. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists to deliver high-quality projects.
8. Implementing and maintaining quality control procedures to ensure that all work complies with the set standards and specifications.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this role, you must have:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on healthcare construction with a General Contractor.
3. Proven experience in managing commercial projects, Healthcare TI, Healthcare Ground Up Construction, and Healthcare Construction.
4. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
5. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage teams.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex issues and make informed decisions.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
8. Proficiency in using construction management software and other relevant computer applications.
