Job Details

Job Description:

  • Design electrical and/or power electronics circuitry for Premium CT Hardware either on NPI products or maintenance of installed base.
  • Drives and is accountable for operational excellence of assigned designs, projects and rigor, with duties including design, project reviews, feasibility analysis, cost benefit analysis, prioritization, resourcing, initiation, execution and closure
  • Drive the development of prototypes, performance testing and design documentation
  • Capture electrical design schematic using an ECAD system
  • Review and approve layout done on the ECAD system
  • Develop innovative designs to meet all requirements for performance, reliability, cost and manufacturability

Required Qualifications:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering and 5 years of industry electrical engineering experience.
  • 5 years of industry experience in circuit design.
  • Knowledge of standard schematic practices, product structuring, electronics modeling, and engineering analysis techniques.
  • Knowledge of integrated circuit design, control system design, programming, simulation & test

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master's or PHD degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Good understanding of circuit/circuit board design both analog and digital
  • Familiarity with digital electronics, switches and flux capacitors
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute projects/programs.
  • Ability to multi-task, both on projects within the electrical team and within the greater hardware team.
