Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Mobile Android Developer with exposure to iOS development to join our team onsite in Middletown, NJ. This role focuses on developing high-quality, robust, and maintainable mobile applications for Android devices while ensuring seamless integration with backend systems and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Java and standard Android SDKs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

  • Optimize applications for performance, usability, and responsiveness across various Android devices and OS versions.

  • Integrate third-party libraries, APIs, and services as needed.

  • Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.

  • Utilize tools like JDT within IDEs (e.g., Android Studio) to streamline development.

  • Support occasional iOS development initiatives, where applicable.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong proficiency in Android development using Java.

  • Solid understanding of Android architecture, components, and design patterns (MVC/MVVM).

  • Experience working with Android SDKs, APIs, and tools.

  • Familiarity with JDT tools and development in IDE environments.

  • Knowledge of iOS development basics is a plus.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
