Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced Archer GRC Platform Engineer III to lead the design, architecture, and configuration of the RSA Archer platform in support of our evolving Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) objectives. This is a key role within the IT risk and compliance team, requiring advanced platform knowledge and a deep understanding of regulatory standards specific to the banking industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement scalable Archer GRC solutions aligned with regulatory and business requirements (OCC, FFIEC, SOX, GLBA).
- Lead platform development efforts, including data integration, application design, and workflow configuration.
- Collaborate with compliance, operational risk, and audit teams to translate business needs into technical use cases.
- Develop and manage complex platform components such as ODAs, data-driven events, advanced workflows, notifications, and calculated fields.
- Maintain and document platform stability, performance tuning, and access controls.
- Oversee version upgrades, patches, and change control processes.
- Ensure security, reliability, and audit-readiness of the Archer environment.
- Provide expert troubleshooting and serve as a technical advisor for risk-related solutions.
- Mentor junior Archer administrators and contribute to platform governance standards.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in RSA Archer platform architecture, configuration, and development.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in banking or financial services, with a strong grasp of risk management functions.
- In-depth knowledge of Archer components, including:
- On-Demand Applications (ODAs)

- Notifications
- Data Feeds
- Access Roles
- Proven experience delivering solutions for:
- Operational Risk Management (ORM)
- Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM)
- Regulatory Compliance Management
- Audit and Issue Management
- Strong understanding of banking regulations and frameworks such as Basel III, COSO, FFIEC CAT, NIST CSF, FDICIA.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to business stakeholders.
- Strong organizational, planning, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- RSA Archer Certified Administrator or Certified Architect.
- Experience with API-based Archer integrations (REST/SOAP).
- Exposure to Agile or DevOps in regulated environments.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity risk, data privacy, or DLP programs in financial services.
