Baer is looking for NetSuite Functional Consultant for a 6+ month remote project
Title: NetSuite Functional Consultant
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2
Description:

• Lead end-to-end NetSuite R2R implementations: requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Serve as the primary advisor on R2R process optimization, leveraging NetSuite functionality for general ledger, journal entries, period close, consolidations, and financial reporting.
• Configure and maintain NetSuite modules including General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Multi-Book Accounting, and Financial Reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into NetSuite solutions.
• Document process flows, functional specifications, and training materials for R2R processes.
• Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution while ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Train end users and internal teams on NetSuite R2R best practices.
• Stay up to date with NetSuite enhancements and recommend system improvements.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of hands-on NetSuite experience with a focus on Record to Report (R2R).
• Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS, financial close cycles, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in configuring NetSuite for General Ledger, Journal Entries, Period Close, and Reporting.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with SuiteFlow, SuiteScript, or SuiteAnalytics is a plus.
• NetSuite certification(s) preferred.
• Bachelor s Degree

Preferred Experience:

• Working with multi-entity, multi-currency setups, and intercompany eliminations.
• Familiarity with NetSuite integrations and data migrations.
• Participation in finance transformation or ERP optimization initiatives.
