Immediate need for a talented Data Engineer (OBIEE) . This is a 17+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Westlake, TX (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $60 - $70/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for consistent delivery of functional software sprint to sprint, release to release
  • Precision in software development practices and procedures
  • Participate in application-level architecture and ability to drive the solution
  • Develop original and creative technical solutions to ongoing development efforts
  • Responsible for QA readiness of software work you are doing (end-to-end tests, unit tests,automation)
  • Responsible for supporting implementation of initiatives
  • Work on exciting assignments and often multiple phases of a project
  • Assist in developing departmental technical policies and procedures

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Key Skills; OAS admin experience,
  • ETL
  • Snowflake.
  • Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science / similar technical subject area and 8+ years relevantexperience
  • Extensive experience in Data engineering, Data Modeling and Data analysis
  • Extensive experience in Oracle/ PL-SQL and Informatica
  • Extensive Experience in Administering OBIEE, OAS
  • Experience in reporting tools such as Tableau, PowerBI
  • Extensive experience in Linux/Unix platform
  • Experience in Python, Java, and C
  • Extensive experience in working in a data warehouse environment
  • Experience in delivering DaaS (Data as a Service)
  • Experience in AWS, Snowflake, Airflow is preferred
  • Team work to team up with a team of developers and analysts to deliver business value bycoordinating with Tech Leads, Architects, Analysts and Product owners
  • Collaboration skills
  • Superb communication skills
  • Strong problem resolution skills
  • Critical thinking and the ability to work in an agile environment
  • Expertise in navigating the organization structure to get the desired results
  • Problem solving approach to remove blockers impeding the team
