Baer is looking for an SAP FICO Manager for a 6+ month project located in Lynnfield, MA
Title: SAP FICO Manager
Location: Hybrid - 3 days onsite in Lynnfield, MA (local New England area)
Duration: 6 months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 or C2C
Description:

• Lead configuration and implementation of SAP S/4HANA FICO modules.
• Serve as the key liaison between finance teams and SAP technical groups.
• Oversee a team of FICO consultants and ensure cross-functional integration with SD, MM, PP, PM, and EWM.
• Develop and maintain cost accounting models specific to dairy operations (e.g., raw milk valuation, yield management).
• Drive process improvements and enhance financial reporting, product costing, and asset accounting.
• Support system integration, data migration, and validation.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables in collaboration with IT and business leaders.
• Provide end-user training, change management, and post-go-live support.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and industry standards.
• Continuously develop professional skills and expand knowledge of SAP and business operations.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of SAP FICO experience, including at least one full-cycle S/4HANA implementation.
• Strong background in cost accounting and product costing within the dairy or manufacturing industry.
• Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and Agile project delivery.
• Experience with SAP Treasury and integration with third-party systems.
• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems (CPA or MBA preferred).
