Position overview: This consultant will be supporting the design and engineering of migration activities tied to M&A and Operations for APi Groups Mobile device Management technology stack. This is a combination of Intune/Intune Autopilot and Mobile with Apple DEP. They would be supporting migration activities around phones that are not federated today. This is a blend of projects and operations, with 20% being design and 80% engineering. The ideal consultant would have some background in design. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: We are seeking an experienced Device Management Administrator to design, manage and maintain the company's mobile device hardware and associated applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, upgrading, and troubleshooting hardware and software systems, performing regular maintenance tasks, ensuring that all devices are functional and secure, and providing user support. A successful Device Management Administrator should have a thorough understanding of system and network functions, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure to fix issues swiftly and accurately. Responsibilities System Setup & Configuration o Deploy and configure iOS and Android devices and environments for enterprise use. o Integrate mobile platforms with MDM (Mobile Device Management) solutions. Development & Automation o Build and maintain scripts/tools for provisioning, monitoring, and updating mobile systems. o Collaborate with DevOps and software teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps. Security & Hardening o Implement security best practices for mobile OS configurations. o Harden devices against unauthorized access, data leakage, and malware o Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and patch management. Monitoring & Optimization o Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across mobile platforms. o Optimize device configurations for battery life, connectivity, and app performance. Documentation & Compliance Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, policies, and procedures. Ensure compliance with internal security standards and external regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: A minimum of three to five years of Information Technology experience. Associate or bachelor's degree in the related field. Proven experience as a Device Management Administrator, IT Administrator or similar role Excellent organizational skills and analytic, critical thinking skills. A technical understanding of IT networks, end user device management, and IT applications. Experience with various operating systems and databases Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in MS Office; Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and Visio. Flexibility to work occasionally outside business hours to support security incident response, project work, or maintenance window activities. Impeccable confidentiality, attention to detail, and self-organization. Self-directed and motivated with a positive and willing attitude.
