Job Description Summary:
In the CFPMO we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of corporate finance, treasury, and accounting, coupled with strong analytical and communication skills to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. The candidate will lead requirements definition sessions ensuring that the team articulates requirements and specifications.
The Business Analyst must have a solid background in financial and accounting systems and processes. It is preferred if the candidate has a technical leaning in their background to assist with business solution flows and mapping.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst with experience in accounting system and general accounting and Treasury.
- Strong understanding of trade flow processes, including trade execution, clearing, and settlement.
- Previous experience in financial services or insurance industries preferred.
- Proficiency in business process mapping and documentation tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, or similar).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex datasets and systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with Agile or Waterfall project management methodologies is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CBAP, CTP, or PMP.
- Hands-on experience with data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, or Tableau).
- *Candidates must be located in commuting distance from the Boston or Springfield Financial offices.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, document business requirements and Data needs for treasury processes and systems.
- Exposure and understanding of Banking and treasury Systems.
- Develop detailed business requirement documents (BRDs), workflows, flowcharts, and process models to support the project goals.
- Assist and train finance, treasury, and accounting team members on how to use the new or modified processes or systems which include providing guidance to the team on existing tools, as well as assist them with researching issues.
- Review, maintain, and suggest modifications as appropriate to the current procedures and processes.
- Liaise with technology teams to ensure accurate translation of business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
- Support testing activities, including developing test cases, conducting user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensuring successful project delivery.
- Monitor and track project progress, ensuring alignment with timelines, deliverables, and quality standards.
- Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders across business and technology teams throughout the project lifecycle.
