  • 5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Specialty Software Engineering.
  • Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale, or longer-term Specialty Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors.
  • Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables.
  • Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
  • Perform in the high level technical and analytics role as an individual contributor developing web applications in Angular and Java.
  • Be able to write Java batch applications that perform well.
  • Write adequate unit tests for their code.
  • Write code that is free from common bugs (i.e. SQL injection) and can pass automated code scans.
  • Write high quality code in the Java language using object-oriented principals and design patterns as appropriate.
  • Create/modify SQL Server database objects (tables, views, stored procedures, etc) as needed.
  • Work with large data sets requiring attention to computational efficiency, parallelism, and scalability.
  • Work as a Team Engineer in an Agile team. Need to attend daily scrum meetings and sprint planning sessions.
  • Manage library dependencies of your project in a Gradle build system.
  • Be able to troubleshoot failed builds.
