Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow professional with deep expertise in CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping. This role is ideal for someone who has led or contributed to CMDB maturity initiatives and understands how to automate and optimize asset and configuration management processes.
You'll be part of a team undergoing a major transformation, where ServiceNow is becoming the central platform for IT Asset Management. The ideal candidate will bring both strategic vision and hands-on technical execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and optimize ServiceNow Discovery processes
  • Analyze and remediate CMDB errors; improve scheduled jobs and asset classification
  • Design and structure CMDB data for scalability and accuracy
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive data dictionary for mandatory classes and attributes
  • Lead data certification efforts to ensure integrity and compliance
  • Develop and implement Business Service Mapping strategies
  • Collaborate with internal teams to automate CMDB-related routines and reduce manual workload
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to a team new to CMDB best practices

Required Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience with ServiceNow Discovery and CMDB architecture
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, asset classification, and service mapping
  • Proven ability to automate CMDB processes and improve data quality
  • Experience building data dictionaries and managing data certification workflows
  • Ability to work across both strategic and tactical levels
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Skills

  • Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Process improvement and project management experience
  • Prior experience in enterprise IT transformations

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $44.99 - $74.98/hr.
