job summary:

The Project Manager manages key client projects. Project management responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time, within budget, and within scope. The Project Manager is responsible for day-to-day delivery and governance of assigned IT projects within the portfolio. Direct and indirect management of project resources including but not limited to IT Architects, Engineers, Technicians, Associate Project Managers and Project Coordinators assigned within the portfolio. Full project lifecycle management from inception (initiation, discovery, design, test/pilot, implementation and closure) including financial responsibility (expense tracking, invoicing, forecasting, accounts receivable assistance, etc.) and governance (reporting, stakeholder analysis, lessons learned, etc.) is required.

responsibilities:


Required Skills -



At least 5 years of professional Project Management experience with skills in:


Schedule Management, Communications, Planning, Revenue/Cost Management, Scope and Change Control Management, Issue/Risk and Quality Management, and Vendor Management


Experience managing infrastructure deployment, network implementations/remediation's, MS Stack (OS/Application) or Cloud implementation solutions


A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and/or relevant work experience with PMP certification



Job Duties -



Manage a matrix team with coaching/mentoring of team members and communication with third party vendors/suppliers


Understand and manage adherence to project statements of work, mitigate scope creep and execute change orders when required


Define, document and execute customer status calls and full project governance reporting both internal and external


Work within the project defined change management associated with the portfolio of projects assigned


strong focus on continuous service improvement while documenting lessons learned and risks to communicate to client value of methodologies


Develop and maintain detailed/comprehensive project plans to monitor and track progress


Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation (spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps)


Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency


Manage matrix team with internal database project real time updates for project and financial status.

PMP and/or ITIL certification or equivalent
