Job Details

Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled MES Software Developer to support the design, development, and implementation of manufacturing execution solutions using Siemens Opcenter Execution (formerly Camstar). The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in .NET,SQL, and Siemens MES tools, coupled with a strategic understanding of manufacturing systems integration, including ERP and shop floor control systems. This role is instrumental in delivering scalable, efficient, and standardized MES solutions across our global operations. Key Responsibilities: Serve as a technical leader in Siemens Opcenter Execution design, modeling, and development across multiple projects. Design and implement MES applications in line with Client IT standards and manufacturing requirements. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and translate business and system requirements into functional solutions. Develop and configure solutions using Siemens Opcenter Designer and Portal. Integrate MES with ERP systems and shop floor control systems to ensure seamless manufacturing execution. Create and maintain technical documentation, including specifications and architecture diagrams. Act as MES lead on global projects, ensuring deliverables meet timelines, budgets, and business needs. Support, troubleshoot, and optimize deployed MES systems in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. Work with development teams and business units to drive continuous improvement and standardization. Required Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related IT field. Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Siemens Opcenter Execution (Designer and Portal). 5+ years of development experience with languages such as .NET, C#, JavaScript, and SQL. Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and relational database design. In-depth knowledge of source code management systems (e.g., Git). Proven ability to develop applications following software development best practices. Experience delivering solutions in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. Desired Skills: Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in cross-functional teams. Familiarity with Test Driven Development (TDD), CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices. Experience in Angular or other front-end JavaScript frameworks. Strong knowledge of ERP-MES integration and full-stack system architecture. Ability to lead and mentor junior developers and project team members. Soft Skills & Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural, global team.
