Job Description

We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst to support our engineering and infrastructure teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong mix of technical documentation, business analysis, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex systems into clear, actionable insights and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

Documentation & Content Management

Create and maintain technical documentation (API specs, system diagrams, data flows, runbooks, deployment/security guides).

Produce user-facing materials including guides, manuals, release notes, and knowledge base articles.

Define and enforce documentation standards, templates, and governance policies.

Manage centralized repositories (Confluence, SharePoint, or similar), ensuring organization, version control, and accessibility.

Audit and update documentation to align with evolving systems.

Business Analysis & Requirements

Collaborate with developers, architects, and product owners to capture technical and non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, security).

Map and model processes (As-Is / To-Be) using UML, BPMN, or other frameworks.

Maintain requirements traceability from business use cases to delivered features.

Conduct gap analyses and document findings for engineering teams.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Support training teams by integrating documentation into onboarding and enablement programs.

Manage change documentation, including impact assessments and release notes.

Serve as the subject matter expert for documentation standards and deliverables.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Technical Communication, or related field.
• 3+ years as a Technical Business Analyst, Technical Writer, or Systems Analyst in an Agile environment.
• Strong ability to interpret technical documentation (schemas, APIs, architecture diagrams).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to simplify complex content.
• Hands-on experience with documentation/collaboration tools (Confluence, Jira, Visio, etc.).
• Familiarity with structured authoring practices.

Preferred Qualifications

Basic programming knowledge (SQL, JSON, XML).

Business Analysis or Technical Communication certification (CBAP, CCBA, etc.).

Experience documenting cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).

Background in domains such as Finance, Healthcare, or CRM.
