Job Title: Hybrid Cloud Transformation Manager
Location: Plymouth, Michigan (Hybrid)
Duration: Long-Term Contract
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Hybrid Cloud Transformation Manager to lead the architecture, implementation, and optimization of our Azure IaaS infrastructure. This role requires both L2 and L3 level expertise in managing cloud environments, automating infrastructure, and ensuring security compliance. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, mentoring teams, and aligning cloud strategies with business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification required.
- Additional advanced Azure certifications are a plus.
Experience:
- 7+ years of experience managing Azure IaaS environments (L2 level).
- 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, with a focus on Azure (L3 level).
- Proven experience in automation, scripting, and infrastructure optimization.
- Strong leadership experience in managing technical teams and mentoring junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
L2-Level Responsibilities:
- Provide L2 support for Azure IaaS services including virtual machines, networking, and storage.
- Monitor system performance and assist in resource optimization.
- Automate tasks using PowerShell or Azure CLI.
- Deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates.
- Implement security best practices and support compliance audits.
- Maintain accurate documentation and generate performance reports.
L3-Level Responsibilities:
- Design and implement complex Azure IaaS solutions aligned with business goals.
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of high-level technical issues.
- Develop advanced IaC solutions using ARM templates, PowerShell, and Terraform.
- Integrate DevOps practices into infrastructure management.
- Lead security initiatives, conduct audits, and respond to threats.
- Collaborate with architecture and development teams to deliver robust solutions.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to team capability building.
- Participate in incident and problem management, knowledge base updates, and hiring initiatives.
