Position: SCCM Admin

Location: Columbia, SC (Onsite - 5 days/week)

Duration: 12 months with possibility of extension

Job Description:

Scope of the Project:

The agency seeks an experienced System Center Service Manager Administrator responsible for maintaining System Center infrastructure, managing Service Manager requests, developing workflows in System Center Orchestrator, and working with the Cireson Web Portal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report to the Bureau Chief of IT Services and collaborate with business units to collect and define Service Manager requirements.
  • Administer and develop new workflows using System Center Orchestrator.
  • Maintain and enhance Cireson software, including JavaScript updates and vendor coordination.
  • Patch and update System Center, Orchestrator, and Cireson environments.
  • Serve as SME/POC for Service Manager processes, ensuring efficiency and quality improvements.
  • Prepare documentation and reports for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Act as liaison between technical teams and management, including executives.
  • Provide after-hours project and platform support when required.
  • Lead a project to migrate Service Manager to an updated standard environment.

Program Experience: Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft System Center in enterprise environments is required. Candidates with a track record of successful implementations will be prioritized.

  • MS System Center Service Manager
  • MS System Center Orchestrator
  • Active Directory
  • Windows Server Administration
  • JavaScript, Cireson, PowerShell
  • IT Infrastructure, Server Operations, and Implementation

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years in development roles supporting MS System Center
  • 3+ years of MS Azure administration
  • 5+ years of MS Server administration
  • 3+ years in IT frameworks (ITIL, MITA, etc.)

Preferred Skills:

  • System Center Service Manager, Cireson, Orchestrator
  • JavaScript, PowerBI, SQL, HTML, XML, PowerShell
  • Healthcare or MMIS domain experience
  • Major project implementation experience
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, CDC, and server/network security frameworks

Education & Certifications:

  • Required: Bachelor s Degree or equivalent experience (5+ years)
  • Preferred: Microsoft Server Administration Certifications
