Description

Join Copeland as a Product Engineer and be part of an exceptionally talented team in Suzhou, Jiangsu, China. This unique opportunity allows you to develop and qualify world-class products, ensuring they compete successfully in the market. Embrace an ambitious role that challenges you to implement flawless designs and determine innovative solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop new products with schedule and quality to ensure that the design meet performance, reliability, cost and safety.
  • Collaborate with design engineers for concept design, sample preparation, testing, evaluation and decision making.
  • Work with reliability team to get NPD reliability qualification done.
  • Complete the NPD documentation & processes to support new product release.
  • Coordinate weekly meetings and prepare related presentations to review NPD related topics.
  • Resolve and provide vital supports to engineering labs and customers.
  • Maintain product after launched and support continuous improvements.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or Thermal and power engineering
  • 0- 3 years working experience on mechanical engineering design, including basic static/dynamic analysis, calculation on material strength, and components design optimization, etc.
  • Compressor or HVAC system knowledge is a plus.
  • Candidate should have demonstrated problem solving and project management skills with an understanding of key engineering tools such as design analysis, design of experiments, FMEA, and lean concepts.
  • Good communication skills of both verbal and written English.
  • PC skills including the use of Microsoft Office applications requiring presentation materials, report compilation and computational spreadsheet utilization.
