Senior Project Manager (Hybrid Raritan, NJ)

This is a Senior PM opening for a local NJ resource to support projects in the cyber security organization. This will not be a hands-on technical role, but true functionaal PM in waterfall methodology.

Preferred Experience:

• Foundational accounting experience and basic security knowledge are preferable
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. (Waterfall)

This hybrid role requires an individual who can effectively manage projects that intersect with business operations and financial processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and presentation skills, with a foundational understanding of accounting principles and basic security concepts. Please note: This role is focused on project management within a business context and does not require experience in IT development or Scrum methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects from initiation through closure, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery.
• Develop and deliver high-quality, professional presentations to stakeholders and leadership, requiring strong proficiency in PowerPoint.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for project communications, providing regular updates on status, risks, and milestones. Collaborate with finance and business teams, leveraging foundational accounting experience to track project costs and manage budgets.
• Ensure project activities adhere to basic security guidelines and protocols.
• Coordinate resources and activities to achieve project goals without requiring knowledge of IT development processes.

Must be a local Senior Project Manager and able to work in a hybrid environment.
