Position Summary:
The IT Hardware Deployment Technician is responsible for deploying, installing, and configuring new hardware across multiple locations as part of system upgrades, facility renovations, and new site openings. This role involves imaging devices, asset management, and providing hands-on technical support to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unbox, assemble, and deploy new hardware including desktops, laptops (Dell), thin clients, phones, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Image devices using SCCM following standardized processes; assist with configuration and setup.
  • Perform asset tagging, inventory updates, and decommissioning of old equipment.
  • Support specialized hardware such as wall-mounted cabinets, WOWs (Workstations on Wheels), and clinical devices.
  • Provide Tier I desktop support for escalated tickets, including troubleshooting hardware/software issues, performing upgrades, and completing new asset requests.
  • Utilize Active Directory for tasks such as machine lookups, OU associations, and user account support.
  • Collaborate with the desktop support team to maintain consistent build processes for laptops, desktops, and thin clients.
  • Ensure timely resolution of issues while maintaining excellent customer service in a clinical environment.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with hardware deployment, imaging tools (SCCM), and asset management.
  • Experience with Active Directory for basic administrative tasks.
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues across multiple device types.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in following standardized processes.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a customer-facing role.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $22.00/hr.
