SHIFT: M-F, day shift
LOCATION: Onsite. Renton, WA or Lewisville, TX

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Vehicle Support Specialist, you will become an expert on all Engines, Aftertreatment, and chassis Electrical Systems; provide accurate and timely support to Dealership Technicians; communicate technical information to all Company divisions; and act as the first point of dealer contact across all Company Divisions with a goal of maximizing customer Uptime.
- Provide direct Tier 1 technical support to Dealer Technicians by:
- Identifying customer concerns, reviewing troubleshooting results, and providing timely and accurate support using our internal case management tool TCS 365.
- Follow-up on repair progress to ensure maximum uptime in returning trucks to service.
- Provide software support on engine applications and some chassis applications that require special approvals and/or additional research and provide information to dealer technicians on these situations.
- Support cross-functional projects including, but not limited to, service tools and documentation, product quality, and Voice of Customer.
- Escalate complex vehicle issues to Technical Lead, Tier 2 and 3 Field Support Teams, and leadership teams as appropriate.
- Attain and maintain all Company Engine Certifications and staying current on industry systems and technologies.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Automotive or Diesel Technical Degree required, Bachelor s degree preferred Ability to earn and maintain technical certifications
- 1+ years of experience in automotive and/or diesel engine diagnostics required, OEM dealership experience strongly preferred
- Fundamental understanding of engine and aftertreatment systems and demonstrated ability to accurately and efficiently diagnose component and/or system faults.
- Fundamental understanding of electrical system theory and demonstrated ability to accurately and efficiently diagnose electrical system faults
- Proficient in industry computer-based diagnostic tools and standards including OBD (On Board Diagnostics) Ability to handle multiple tasks and produce high volume/high quality output
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced 24/7 environment and adapt to changing schedules and requirements Ability to work under limited supervision and able to make sound decisions under pressure
- Strong PC skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Strong customer service and written communication skills
