Position: Engineering Designer

Job Description:
Join a team that's shaping the future of aerospace and defense technologies. We're seeking an Engineering Designer to support our Electronics Packaging group, contributing to the development of cutting-edge launch vehicle avionics. This is an on-site role based in Chandler, AZ, offering the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment alongside mechanical and electrical engineers.
Responsibilities
- Create and release mechanical part and assembly models using Siemens NX integrated with Teamcenter.
- Support the design and drafting of printed wiring assemblies (PWAs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to develop system components.
- Communicate project status and progress to responsible engineers.
- Compile and release digital product definition packages in accordance with ASME Y14.41 standards using NX PMI and Teamcenter.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 0 years of experience, or a minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience.
- Proficiency in mechanical design and drafting using Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
- Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5-2009.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PMI-based digital product definitions in Siemens NX.
- Familiarity with electrical assembly drafting, particularly PWAs.
- Knowledge of avionics design for flight vehicles.
- ASME GDTP Certification is a plus.
