Control Systems/Automation Engineer to provide specialized technical expertise in the application and use of control, automation technology. Generate control schematics, control panel layouts, Bill of Materials, and drawings utilizing AutoCAD Electrical. The ideal candidate has working knowledge of PLC & HMI programming as well as strong problem-solving skills. Robotics experience a plus.

Job Details

Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop electrical systems for machinery and robotics, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
2. Use your expertise in Automation within Reach (AWR) to enhance the functionality and versatility of our equipment.
3. Create and implement detailed electrical interfaces for machinery and robotics, facilitating seamless interaction between different systems.
4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of engineers, designers, and technicians to develop innovative solutions for complex engineering challenges.
5. Oversee the installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems and controls, ensuring they meet all safety standards and regulations.
6. Utilize your knowledge of controls design to optimize the functionality and efficiency of our machinery and robotics.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on machinery and robotics.
3. Proficiency in Automation within Reach (AWR), electrical design, electrical systems, and controls design.
4. Strong knowledge of electrical interfaces and their application in machinery and robotics.
5. Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and maintain complex electrical systems and controls.
6. Experience with CAD software and other engineering design tools is a plus.
