Work you'll do

  • Provide the first line of defense to investigate and resolve problems for IT systems across infrastructure and engineering, operations, and technical refresh domains.
  • Provide initial assessments and coordinate with infrastructure SMEs for issue/problem resolution, and work directly with the Manager on infrastructure service lane issues.
  • Collaborate and maintain continuous communications with other service leads (Network, Service Desk, Deskside Support, Cyber) and Manager in the IT Operations Center to resolve problems.
  • Initiate and lead the crisis action team for critical issues with their service lane.
  • Act as the primary technical interface concerning COE, tracking all planned/emergency maintenance actions pertaining to infrastructure, and coordinating with the Operations Support Team in the development of knowledge articles.
  • Manage all operations-related processes for the sustainment of operational baselines.
  • Manage 24x7x365 support and a Tier 2/3 team - available on-demand for critical and high operations incidents.
  • Support Service Level Agreement of 99.9% availability.
  • Brief technical status to internal and external customers, as well as program and agency leadership.
  • Provide technical execution oversight to operations during incidents.
  • Facilitate collaboration across operations teams.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders for enterprise projects and activities.
  • Lead ops metrics collection and dissemination.
  • Interact with personnel and senior executives on technical considerations.

Our Core Technology Operations group enables differentiation and focused growth for large-scale infrastructure, data center, and operations projects. We take part in operation services for our clients with emphasis on automation and delivery excellence. Our core capabilities include: IT Operations Delivery & Management, Customer Experience Enhancement, Operations Transformation, transportation modernization, and Emerging Technology platforms such as drones and 5G networks.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 6 years of IT Infrastructure experience (ie: system engineer/admin, network engineer/admin)
  • Ability to be onsite 100% of the time in one of the locations listed: Washington DC; Reston, VA; Colorado Springs, CO; Tampa, FL; St. Louis MO and Huntsville, AL
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required.


The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $97,875 to $181,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
