Job Title: Workflow Analyst

Location: Providence, RI (Onsite)

Duration: 12+ Months

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Workflow Analyst to examine, design, and optimize business processes across departments. This role focuses on improving operational efficiency, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing effective workflow solutions through data-driven analysis and automation tools. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, communication abilities, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze existing workflows and identify inefficiencies, gaps, or improvement opportunities.
  • Design and document optimized workflow procedures, standards, and best practices.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with operational guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to collect data and functional requirements.
  • Implement workflow automation solutions to streamline business operations.
  • Monitor workflow performance, define KPIs, and track success metrics.
  • Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and recommendations for leadership.
  • Provide training and ongoing support on new workflows and tools.
  • Troubleshoot workflow-related issues and implement long-term solutions.
  • Communicate proposed changes and benefits clearly to stakeholders.
  • Ensure workflows comply with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for failures and lead corrective initiatives.
  • Lead or participate in process improvement workshops and brainstorming sessions.
  • Maintain accurate and updated documentation of all workflows.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3 5 years of experience in workflow analysis, business process improvement, or a similar role.
  • Experience with workflow automation tools and technologies.
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools and the ability to interpret complex datasets.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lead or contribute to cross-functional projects.
  • Experience in training staff and preparing documentation.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement resolutions.
