Urgent openings for AWS Data Engineer: C2C: Remote
Location: Morristown, NJ or Bloomfield, CT (2-3 days onsite per week)
Duration: 6 months
Interview: 2 rounds
Candidates must already be local to Morristown, NJ or Bloomfield, CT area
Moving away from Red Point Data Management to Snowflake.
Looking for someone to work on End-To-End Migration project.
OLTP source to Snowflake using AWS Glue jobs to S3 to bring the data into Snowflake, prepare for the presentation layer.
Looking for someone with strong Data Transformation skills, I believe this is where DataBricks comes into play.
Job Description:
AWS Data Engineer:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes using Databricks, Snowflake, and AWS services.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Optimize and tune data processing workflows for performance and scalability.
- Implement data quality checks and ensure data integrity across all data pipelines.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in data engineering and cloud technologies.
- Contribute to the design and architecture of our data infrastructure, ensuring it is secure, scalable, and cost-effective.
- Document data engineering processes, workflows, and best practices.
