Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking an Entry-Level or Associate Reliability, Maintainability, & System Health (RM&SH) Engineer for the Space Launch System (SLS) program in Huntsville, AL.

As a member of RM&SH, you will support the design, manufacture, test, and/or sustainment of state-of-the-art technology. Position Responsibilities:
  • Perform Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) to identify and mitigate risk of system failure and support proposed changes in design using National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) methodology
  • Review supplier submittals from a RM&SH perspective.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

This position requires the ability to obtain access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
  • Entry-Level: Bachelor's degree and related experience.
  • Associate: Bachelor's and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's or higher in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance

Summary pay range:

Entry-Level, Level 1 $68,000 - $92,000

Associate, Level 2: $81,600 - $110,400
