Skills and Experience Required
Experiencing managing and leading a team of senior to junior level systems engineers and administrators team members.
Hands on experiencing managing a Microsoft Infrastructure both on prem and in Azure cloud. (DC, AD, DNS, WSUS, SCCM,SCOM, O365/M365, Exchange)
Experience managing a team of at least 4 individual contributors.
Experience supporting enterprise storage solutions and virtual environments.
Experiencing in training and providing guidance to support staff in areas of expertise.
Experience identifying areas of improvement and articulating it to staff and management.
Experience with planning and executing projects.
Experience managing technical debt.
Experience developing, documenting and communicating technical processes and standards.
Experience in gathering and analyzing data and managing that information to others to make informed decisions.
Experience managing large scale cross functional efforts.
Experience supporting software development teams for releases and troubleshooting.
Experience supporting an environment that is heavily customized applications to support the business and the business s customers.

Typical Duties
Manage risk for the infrastructure, business and staff.
Provide technical and procedural guidance to staff.
Manage the execution of the Systems team for day-to-day tasks and projects.
Maintains overall system compliance with information security policies and procedures.
Represents IT s interests and concerns on complex projects through the lifecycle of a project, and escalates concerns to management as necessary.
Works closely with cross functional departments to ensure systems requests are properly addressed.
Work with cross functional teams to solve problems and deliver solutions.
Champions development and implementation of best practices, policies, and procedures for the IT Systems group.
Seek out areas of improvement within the infrastructure and execute plans to address them.
Manage risk in your day-to-day duties supporting the infrastructure.
Champion, develop and maintain documentation necessary to managing the infrastructure.
Available for management escalations of hours and weekends.
Mentor and train Jr. level engineers and administrators.

Other Qualifications Desired:
Technical Certifications:
oCertifications in any of the following; MCSA.MCSE, VMWare. ITIL or other relevant technology engineering certifications.
Education:
oBachelor s degree (B.A.), technology trade school or relevant training programs.
o5 years related experience in tier 1 systems architecture, implementation, support and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
