Role has a high chance of converting to full-time, as the current HR Generalist is retiring at the end of this year. The new hire will receive training until the end of the year, allowing for a smooth transition and the opportunity to convert to a full-time position.
Education/Experience Required:
High School Diploma. Bachelors Preferred.

Desired Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in an HR generalist or related role.
Experience working with SAP and Talent Connections is a plus, but not required. Training will be provided for system use.
Willingness to learn and undergo training on internal systems and processes.
Ability to work in an environment with flexible hours (standard hours typically range from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with potential for night shift coverage as needed).
Manufacturing experience is preferred, but not required. The key focus is on HR experience.
Work Schedule: Manager is looking for someone flexible with the schedule when they are working day shift.
Day shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, or 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
Flexibility required for occasional extended hours.
Training with current staff will be provided before transitioning to independent responsibilities.
Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
Manage conflict resolution and facilitate effective communication between leadership and employees.
Demonstrate active listening skills and strong interpersonal relationship-building abilities.
Assist in investigations and reporting, providing support as needed.
Participate in employee training sessions and performance evaluations.
Support employee engagement activities, ensuring smooth operation from start to finish.
Collaborate with benefits and payroll departments to address employee needs.
Serve as a liaison between HR departments and employees to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution.
Participate in ongoing ethics training and company-wide initiatives.
Provide administrative support to leadership in organizing and managing day-to-day operations.
Additional Information:
Training plan in place, including shadowing the current HR Generalist before their retirement.
The role requires someone with a positive attitude and an ability to handle the dynamic nature of HR tasks.
Support from legal and safety teams will be available when necessary.
This is a temp-to-full-time role. The goal is to transition the contractor to a full-time employee, although it is subject to business circumstances.
Employee tenure is significant in the facility, with many employees having been with the company for 40-50 years. Building trust and developing strong relationships will be crucial, as some employees may be initially hesitant to engage.
Challenges in the Role:
Organizational skills are critical. Lack of ability to prioritize and manage time effectively will hinder success.
The role requires the ability to work independently and self-manage.
Teamwork is essential, as collaboration with the Claremont facility and other HR team members is necessary.
