A global, alternative investment management firm is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Infrastructure Engineer Manager to join their growing technology team. As part of a high-performing global infrastructure team, you'll work closely with colleagues across the U.S. and international offices to support and enhance a hybrid enterprise technology environment. The firm values curiosity, innovation, and a service-oriented mindset.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage enterprise infrastructure including storage, networking, computing, virtualization, and containerization.

  • Provide engineering support for both Windows and Linux systems.

  • Administer Microsoft 365 and identity platforms.

  • Support multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS) across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.

  • Automate workflows and processes using scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell).

  • Manage performance and reliability through monitoring and alerting systems.

  • Assist with data protection operations: backup, restore, replication, disaster recovery.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical problems and deliver solutions aligned with business objectives.

  • Maintain thorough documentation and share knowledge across the team.


Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of infrastructure experience, preferably within the financial services sector.

  • Experience in trading environments involving equity, credit, and derivatives is a strong plus.

  • Deep technical expertise in infrastructure engineering and administration (Windows, Linux, Networking).

  • Proficiency with Microsoft identity services and enterprise SaaS solutions.

  • Strong background in Azure (and/or AWS), with hybrid infrastructure exposure.

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.

  • Strong service mindset and customer-first attitude.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing or mentoring technical teams (2+ years).

  • Familiarity with ITIL, ITSM, or other service management frameworks.

  • Project management experience in IT environments.

Compensation: Base salary range: $130,000 $200,000 + performance-based bonus (Total comp up to ~$325K)
