Job Title: Technical Program Manager
Rate: $75/hour W2
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Schedule: Hybrid/Onsite
Job Summary:
The Technical Program Manager is responsible for leading complex, enterprise-wide wireless IT programs, coordinating multiple cross-functional teams, and ensuring project success within scope, schedule, and budget. The role involves strategic planning, stakeholder communication, and effective resource management to deliver technical initiatives aligned with business objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Manage resources, monitor progress, and mitigate risks across multiple wireless projects
• Develop and track project plans, budgets, and key milestones using program management tools
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including wireless service providers and operators
• Communicate program strategy, status, and changes to stakeholders at all levels
• Create project documentation, reports, and presentations for executive audiences
Core Skills (Must-Haves):
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Jira, MS Project)
• Wireless industry experience, including roaming or operator collaborations
• Ability to manage multiple sub-projects and teams effectively
• Budgeting and resource allocation skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills suitable for VP-level audiences
Foundational Skills (Expected):
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and application in enterprise projects
• Ability to identify process improvement opportunities
• Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
Bonus Skills (Nice-to-Haves):
• Experience with end-to-end wireless network projects
• Familiarity with cross-operator roaming agreements and technologies
• Remote work experience within EST time zone
Soft Skills:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to interact effectively with technical teams and senior leadership
Certifications:
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
Experience Requirements:
• 7+ years in technical program management within ICT or wireless sectors
• Proven track record managing multiple teams and projects
• Experience with project scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• Equivalent work experience acceptable if applicable
