Job Summary

An experienced Business Analyst is needed to join the Application Services team in a hybrid work environment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong critical thinking skills, technical knowledge, and interpersonal abilities. This role involves implementing process re-engineering, developing business requirements, creating use cases, and writing test scripts using industry-accepted practices.

The analyst should have a solid understanding of IT concepts and SDLC methodology, with the ability to multi-task across multiple projects and initiatives, including upgrades, maintenance, and enhancements. Responsibilities include conducting business process analyses, supporting programmers with user needs, facilitating testing and user acceptance, and providing second/third-level production support in collaboration with vendors.

Job Responsibilities

  • Implement process re-engineering; develop business requirements, use cases, and test scripts.

  • Conduct business process analyses and needs assessments to align IT solutions with business initiatives.

  • Assist programmers in translating user needs into final program design.

  • Organize and facilitate application testing and user acceptance to ensure requirements are met.

  • Provide second and third-level production support, troubleshooting issues internally and with vendors.

  • Manage multiple projects and internal initiatives (upgrades, enhancements, maintenance).

  • Close out reported issues across multiple applications.

  • Use department and enterprise-wide software to complete assignments.

Required Skills

  • 4+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst.

  • Strong technical knowledge paired with interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Hands-on experience with process re-engineering, business requirements, use cases, and test scripts.

  • Solid understanding of IT concepts and SDLC methodology.

  • Proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Experience with enterprise CRM software (Salesforce, SAP, etc.) desirable.
