Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Solution Architect with deep technical expertise in Java Spring Boot and AWS, who can also take on Product Owner (PO) responsibilities. This hybrid role requires a unique blend of technical leadership and product vision to drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable cloud-native solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Architecture
- Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using Java Spring Boot and AWS services
- Define microservices architecture, integration patterns, and deployment strategies
- Lead technical decision-making and ensure alignment with enterprise standards
- Oversee database design and optimization, especially with Amazon RDS (PostgreSQL)
Product Ownership
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision, roadmap, and backlog
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories
- Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value and technical feasibility
- Act as the primary liaison between business, development, and QA teams
Delivery & Leadership
- Guide development teams through implementation, testing, and deployment
- Ensure CI/CD pipelines are efficient and aligned with DevOps best practices
- Conduct code reviews, performance assessments, and technical mentoring
- Monitor application performance and drive continuous improvement
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Java development, with strong expertise in Spring Boot
- Proven experience architecting solutions on AWS (EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, S3, CloudFormation)
- Solid understanding of microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven architecture
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline)
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, including schema design and performance tuning
- Experience in Agile methodologies and working as a Product Owner
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certification (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer)
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK stack)
