Description

We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to oversee technology operations and provide technical support in Savannah, Georgia. This role involves managing network infrastructure, ensuring IT security, and providing hands-on assistance to local staff. As a Contract to permanent position, this opportunity offers the potential for long-term growth.

Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive hardware and software support, including troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance for end-users.

Administer and monitor local network infrastructure, servers, and connectivity to ensure seamless operations.

Implement and maintain IT security protocols, including system backups and compliance with industry standards.

Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimize operational disruptions.

Coordinate with external vendors to procure hardware, software, and IT services as needed.

Manage workload independently, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and organizational goals.

Requirements

Demonstrated expertise in IT operations, including network administration and end-user support.
Comprehensive knowledge of IT security measures, backup technologies, and compliance standards.
Ability to work autonomously and make informed decisions under minimal supervision.
Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges effectively.
Strong communication skills to facilitate collaboration with both local and remote teams.
Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Cisco Technologies, and backup systems.
Proficiency in Windows OS, Windows 11, and Office 365.
Solid understanding of computer hardware and related technologies.
