Airport Penetration Tester

About the Role:

We’re looking for an experienced Airport Penetration Tester to assess and strengthen the security posture of critical airport systems and infrastructure. This mid-level to senior role focuses on identifying vulnerabilities across a range of operational technologies and networked systems specific to airport environments. You will conduct hands-on penetration testing, simulate real-world attack scenarios, and provide actionable recommendations to improve system resilience. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in airport technology and a proven ability to work across multidisciplinary teams to ensure safety, compliance, and operational continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on airport-specific systems
• Evaluate the security of Access Control, Surveillance Cameras, and Emergency Response (911) Systems
• Assess Building Automation Systems (BAS) for potential risks and exploit paths
• Test Flight and Gate Information Displays including FIDS, GIDS, and BIDS
• Analyze Baggage Handling Systems for network and hardware vulnerabilities
• Document findings and provide detailed remediation strategies
• Collaborate with airport IT, operations, and security teams to align testing with operational requirements
• Simulate threat scenarios to evaluate system response and resilience
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory frameworks
• Support incident response planning and post-test analysis

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field
• 4-6 years of hands-on experience in penetration testing or red teaming
• Previous experience testing airport infrastructure and operational systems
• Strong understanding of physical security systems and industrial control environments
• Proficiency in vulnerability scanning tools and manual exploitation techniques
• Ability to communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with compliance standards such as TSA, NIST, and ISO
• This is a full-time W2 role, not C2C
