Systems Administrator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive System Administrator to join our fast-paced, multi-platform environment. In this role, you will provide critical system and production support for applications. You ll collaborate with teams and vendors to ensure system stability and performance, while also participating in testing, documentation, and troubleshooting efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, and tune applications. Support performance issues and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve problems.
• Monitor batch and online applications, report execution results, and manage system backups. Maintain accurate documentation.
• Conduct testing and verify resolution of issues from previous processing cycles.
• Communicate with on-call teams to resolve abnormal application terminations. Perform corrective actions or escalate as needed.
• Participate in quality assurance sessions, production implementations, data conversions, and disaster recovery exercises.

Education:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• OR 4 years of relevant work experience
• OR 2 years of experience plus an Associate s degree in a related field

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of technical experience in systems analysis, design, programming, or related IT roles

Skills & Abilities:

• Strong understanding of production systems and structured programming techniques
• Familiarity with data storage, database management, and development methodologies
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• High attention to detail

Technical Tools:

• Working knowledge of operating systems, programming languages, and development/productivity tools
• Experience with Microsoft production environments
• SQL querying skills
• OnBase by Hyland experience (preferred)
